SIX (Suspended Ion eXchange process)

Organics removal has become a very high priority in water treatment. SIX is designed to address this priority. The philosophy of the SIX concept is based on an advanced plug flow reactor followed by a specially designed lamella settler. The settled resin is then completely regenerated and re-used. The continuous (modelled) adsorption process operates under stable kinetics.

The design of SIX itself is far more compact, has lower resin concentration and lower resin inventory, lower salt usage, higher effluent quality and better control of the adsorption process than available anywhere on the market. Furthermore all available resins from any supplier can be used in SIX. This is leading edge technology, proven and validated as well as completely controllable.
